Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with strong experience in building scalable data pipelines and working with modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across data ingestion, transformation, and data modeling, and supporting downstream analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric / Azure tools
• Ingest data from multiple sources such as:
• APIs
• Databases
• Flat files (CSV, JSON, etc.)
• Perform data transformation and processing using SQL, Python, or Spark
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows
• Work with Lakehouse / Data Warehouse architectures
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reliability
• Collaborate with BI teams to support reporting and analytics use cases
• Assist in data modeling and schema design (star schema, medallion architecture)

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Fabric (preferred) OR Azure Data stack
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake (ADLS)
• Azure Synapse / Databricks / Spark
• Strong experience in:
• Data ingestion & pipeline building
• SQL (advanced queries, joins, performance tuning)
• Python / PySpark (data processing)
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design
• Understanding of data modeling concepts

Nice to Have

• Basic experience with Power BI / dashboards
• Exposure to Fabric Lakehouse / OneLake
• Experience working with API integrations
• Retail / e-commerce domain exposure
