Head – Sales & Operations (India Domestic Staffing)

India (BLR/Mumbai/Ahmedabad preferred)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sales & Operations Leader to build and scale our India domestic staffing business. This role will own the end-to-end P&L, driving revenue growth while establishing a high-performing, process-driven delivery organization.

The ideal candidate brings a balanced blend of business development, operational rigor, and team leadership, with a proven ability to translate strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive new client acquisition and expand existing relationships across India
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for domestic staffing services
  • Own pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and overall business performance
  • Identify and penetrate new markets, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities

2. Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (requisition to onboarding)
  • Drive key delivery metrics including time-to-fill, submission quality, and conversion ratios
  • Build scalable delivery models to ensure consistency and predictability
  • Ensure high standards of client and candidate experience

3. Governance & Performance Management

  • Establish KPIs and performance frameworks across sales and delivery
  • Lead regular governance forums, including pipeline reviews and delivery performance tracking
  • Implement reporting structures, dashboards, and operational cadence
  • Ensure accountability and data-driven decision-making across teams

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Hire, mentor, and scale high-performing sales and recruitment teams
  • Develop leadership bench strength within the organization
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and execution excellence

5. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as a strategic partner and primary point of contact for key clients
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships across HR, business, and procurement functions
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10–15+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, or workforce solutions
  • Demonstrated success in owning both sales and delivery functions
  • Proven track record of scaling teams and managing revenue portfolios
  • Strong understanding of recruitment operations, governance, and metrics
  • Experience working with enterprise and mid-market clients in India
