About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Digital Category Manager to join our Digital team. This individual will lead the execution of the product life cycle on the website, co-own the efficacy of our promotional experiences and drive a customer-focused shopping experience with appropriate end-to-end click through journeys from channel marketing to checkout. The Sr. Digital Category Manager will be responsible for collaboration with the Merchants, Ecommerce & Site Operations on revenue driving site experiences while partnering with Marketing on landing experiences for promotional and non-promotional campaigns that optimize engagement and increase conversion.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Lead site strategy and execution of key categories to meet financial goals.
  • Primary responsibilities include increasing YoY category growth through site & marketing strategies, across internal and external tools, via revenue and comp lever KPIs.
  • This role requires someone who confidently takes ownership of their areas of responsibility, collaborates effectively with colleagues and key business partners, and demonstrates resourcefulness in identifying answers and solutions by leveraging available tools and engaging the right stakeholders.
  • Will have select category ownership, co-responsible for driving sales growth against budget plans and forecasts, analyzing site performance in context to business results to formulate actionable ideas designed to optimize the customer experience and drive results.
  • Leads the end-to-end product life cycle including tracking of product attribution accuracy, product copy, imagery and placement into site catalog.
  • Partners and supports Site Experience team on content and HP experience planning to support promotions and new product launches.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to enhance customer’s shopping experience, including but not limited to optimizations based on customer reviews, product performance, business goals, site navigation, filter engagement, etc.
  • Develops sound recommendations for site enhancements to improve customer experience through site search, navigation and display.
  • Contributes to UAT process for all new site enhancements with eCommerce and cross functional teams.
  • Utilizes analytics to make data-driven and/or informed decisions or recommend insightful actions that affect shopping & navigational experience. Comfortable generating reporting and can decipher data to provide context of what the data is telling us.
  • Performs daily site audits to ensure accuracy of promotions and experiences.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce (Apparel industry preferred) or Site Merchandising
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
  • Very detail oriented with ability to multi-task and maintain organization
  • Work well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure
  • Comfortable pivoting when needed to react to business trends
  • Deep intellectual curiosity to improve individual skills, interpersonal communication, and overall continuous improvement
  • Experience with Power BI as well as Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AI enabled tools

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from our Dublin, California office location.

The starting salary for this position is $116,000 - $135,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $165,000. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
