As an experienced SFRA Frontend Developer, your role will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining SFRA-based storefronts with a focus on performance and scalability. You will be responsible for implementing composable commerce principles by integrating SFCC frontend with APIs, microservices, and headless systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining SFRA-based storefronts with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Implementing composable commerce principles, integrating SFCC frontend with APIs, microservices, and headless systems.
- Building and optimizing ISML templates, controllers, and UI components to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Collaborating with backend teams on SCAPI/OCAPI-driven headless integrations.
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Working with design teams to translate wireframes and UX guidelines into pixel-perfect implementations.
- Optimizing frontend performance for page speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of SFRA framework and its frontend architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, ISML, JSON, and AJAX.
- Experience with Composable Commerce and API-first/headless commerce implementations.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SCAPI/OCAPI integrations.
- Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) for composable UI development.
- Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and Agile methodology.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
You should possess a Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Salesforce certifications, particularly SFCC Developer, are preferred.
