Job Title: Power BI/Analytics Developer

Location: Columbia Maryland.

Mode: Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets adhering to industry best practices.
• Review, interpret, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries; write clean, maintainable code with proper structure, comments, and design considerations.
• Validate report data for accuracy and consistency to build trust in BI solutions; provide feedback to internal and external data sources.
• Demonstrate proficiency with business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies.
• Conduct source data analysis including data profiling, validation, conceptual and logical data modeling to ensure data quality and suitability.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business concepts, processes, and terminology.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop business requirements that lead to successful project outcomes and innovative solutions.
• Follow project methodology, change management processes, and departmental procedures.
• Work effectively in a team environment, including with remote team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report development.
• Advanced SQL skills for query optimization, troubleshooting, and data extraction.
• Solid understanding of data analysis, data profiling, and data validation techniques.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI best practices and reporting standards.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team, including with remote team members.
