Position Overview

Syntax is seeking a Senior SAP SD Consultant to join our AMS delivery team and strengthen our SAP Sales and Distribution capability across our customer portfolio. The ideal candidate has extensive expertise in SAP SD and robust integration knowledge with modules such as FI‑CO, COPA, PS, MM, and BI — along with operational experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.

This is a client‑facing role requiring technical precision, proactive problem‑solving, and a strong commitment to service excellence in managed support operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support and optimization for SAP SD processes within AMS engagements.
  • Configure and enhance SAP SD functionalities, including pricing, billing, rebate management, and condition contracts.
  • Support Agency Business and Vistex rebate/dispute management implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (FI‑CO, MM, PP, PS, BI) to ensure integrated business outcomes.
  • Design, document, and implement solutions for process automation, reporting (CDS Views), and functional enhancements.
  • Support client workshops, testing, and end‑user training in alignment with Syntax quality standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to AMS clients by combining technical SAP expertise with practical business process insight.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior consultants within the AMS practice.
  • Ensure adherence to AMS delivery standards, governance, and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD (configuration, support, and enhancement).
  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
  • Strong integration knowledge with FI‑CO, COPA, PS, MM, and BI modules.
  • Deep expertise in pricing, rebates, condition contracts, settlement management, and Agency Business.
  • Experience creating CDS Views and supporting BI reporting requirements.
  • Solid understanding of resource‑related billing, variant configuration, and project systems.
  • Technical skills such as debugging or basic ABAP understanding are considered a strong asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French) — excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical ability, documentation discipline, and customer‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Attributes

  • Broad industry exposure in manufacturing, distribution, retail, chemicals, mining, and professional services.
  • SAP certifications in SD and S/4HANA modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in complex AMS environments while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
