Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, integration, deployment, and optimization of secure, high-performance network solutions. This role involves configuring and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable connectivity.
What You’ll Do
Design, configure, integrate, test, and support secure network solutions
Deploy and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and boundary devices
Optimize network performance, throughput, scalability, and reliability
Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools such as WhatsUpGold and NetFlow
Support WAN/LAN architectures and high-speed network topologies
Collaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to define and implement requirements
Analyze network traffic and develop firewall rule sets
Support security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of secure architectures
Validate network dataflows, interfaces, and security device configurations
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support large-scale engineering efforts
Core Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field Additional network engineering experience may substitute for degree requirements
5+ years of experience supporting complex network engineering programs or contracts
Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls
Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools including WhatsUpGold and NetFlow
Knowledge of secure network design and boundary protection solutions
Experience optimizing network performance and minimizing latency
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise network environments
Nice to Have
Experience with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 503 compliance frameworks
Experience with Computer Network Operations and PL3 high/high solutions
Familiarity with Layer 2–7 networking technologies
Experience integrating boundary/security solutions into customer environments
Experience with RF communications solutions and WAN test equipment
Prior experience leading technical teams or large engineering efforts
CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
