Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk factors associated with investments, applying advanced risk analysis techniques to inform underwriting decisions.
• Develop detailed underwriting reports and present findings to senior management for approval.
• Collaborate with investment teams to structure deals that align with risk appetite and strategic goals.
• Monitor ongoing investments and perform periodic reviews to assess performance and adjust risk assessments as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, market developments, and best practices in underwriting and investment banking.
• Support the development of underwriting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency across the team.

Experience

• Proven experience in research, risk analysis, or underwriting within the financial services or investment banking sectors.
• Strong background in analyzing complex financial data, with proficiency in quantitative methods such as math-based modeling.
• Prior experience in investment evaluation, portfolio management, or related roles is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessing investment risks and opportunities through detailed financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders. This role requires a proactive mindset, analytical rigor, and a thorough understanding of financial markets and investment strategies. The Senior Underwriter will be instrumental in guiding strategic investment decisions that support the organization’s long-term growth objectives.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
