Production Manager - Aviation Maintenance

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee aircraft maintenance operations supporting regional and northern aviation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily aircraft maintenance production activities.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work to maximize aircraft availability.
• Supervise and support maintenance teams while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with flight operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure maintenance documentation and regulatory records are accurate and up to date.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada AME M1 or M2 licence is required.
• Strong experience in aviation maintenance and production management.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Sound knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and quality standards.
• Experience working in regional, northern, or remote operations is highly desirable.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
