We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our crew and help bring high-end projects to life.

Role Overview

As a Carpenter at Sylvan Construction, you’ll work closely with the Lead Carpenter and Project Manager to execute all aspects of carpentry from framing to finishing. You’ll be hands-on at every stage of the build, ensuring our projects meet top-quality standards while contributing to a respectful and professional jobsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and other carpentry-related work as assigned.
• Ensures work meets quality standards and is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follows project blueprints, drawings, and instructions from the Lead Carpenter.
• Before starting work, verifies all necessary materials and tools are available.
• Ensures all tools and materials are properly handled and stored at the end of the day.
• Prevents material waste by using proper handling and storage methods.
• Reports missing or low-stock materials to the Lead Carpenter before they are needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follows all company safety protocols and uses required PPE.
• Assists in loading and unloading tools and materials as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• 5-10 years of carpentry experience (apprentices also considered)
• Solid understanding of framing, cabinetry, and finishing techniques
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Willingness to learn and grow with a professional team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license, clean abstract and reliable transportation
• Comfortable with digital tools
