Job Description
6-month contract UX/UI designer role with a rapidly growing team at a global enterprise organization with an on-site work environment.

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a UX/UI designer to their team to assist with the design of a primarily web application. In this role you will produce the experience vision for a key app for their supply chain teams. You’ll be defining what purpose the app fulfils in the lives of internal and external users and visualizing how the apps will fulfil that purpose, ultimately painting a clear picture of the future user experience that results in a roadmap for delivery. You will also develop the principles, standards, and experience guard rails to ensure a cohesive and purposeful end to end app experience and help/lead the development team by designing features within the app. You will also deliver mockups, prototypes as needed. This is a really exciting time to join this organization as they are investing heavily into their digital experience and are experiencing large scale global growth.

This year has them investing majorly in bleeding edge technology as they continue to be a global leader in retail technology. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an on-site work environment, 4 days a week in office.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 10+ years of progressive responsibility in product design or user experience design roles with heavy experience in web application.
- Experience designing and managing large-scale projects with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to balance great design solutions with an iterative approach (v1, v2, or v3).
- Experience designing and prototyping complex workflows with Sketch, Invision, Figma or similar products.
- Superior relationship-building and communication skills.
- Expertise across all facets of human-centered design and user experience, spanning UX strategy, experience/interaction design, user research, prototyping, visual design and user adoption.
Compensation
This role pays between $90-110 per hour.
