Duties

• Operate the manual cash register accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience
• Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
• Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits effectively
• Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a tidy store environment
• Use strong communication skills to handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners ready to grow
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and customer interactions
• Familiarity with cash registers, retail math, and basic cashiering procedures ensures confidence in daily tasks
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette help build lasting customer relationships
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your ability to engage customers and boost sales
