Software Test Engineer - Automotive Infotainment Systems

As a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with experience in Automotive Infotainment Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of infotainment and driver monitoring software in an automotive environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing system and software requirements for Automotive Infotainment systems
• Planning, estimating, and executing test activities across different testing phases
• Designing and developing functional and system-level test cases based on requirements
• Performing manual and automated testing for infotainment and embedded applications
• Developing and executing test scripts using Python or similar scripting languages
• Conducting testing on test benches and vehicles
• Setting up and maintaining embedded test environments
• Performing interface testing and validating hardware-software interactions
• Integrating and using programmable power supplies and oscilloscopes with test benches
• Logging, tracking, and verifying defects through resolution
• Collaborating with cross-functional and global teams to ensure quality deliverables

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture (Software & Hardware)
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation
• Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, including test planning and estimation
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools for test bench and vehicle-level testing
• Working knowledge of interface testing and integrating programmable power supplies and oscilloscopes with test benches

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Cabin Monitoring System (CMS) software testing
