Senior Software QA Engineer - Mapping

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Sustainable Talent is partnering with <strong>NVIDIA</strong>, a global leader in AI and accelerated computing, to hire a <strong>Senior Software QA Engineer</strong> to support internal mapping tools used by the <strong>Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Mapping team</strong>.</p> <p>This role focuses on&nbsp;<strong>testing UI-based map editing platforms used to create and label HD and SD maps</strong> that support autonomous vehicle technologies. The QA engineer will work closely with engineering and mapping operations teams to ensure the reliability and quality of tools used to build high-precision map data.</p> <p>This is a full-time (W-2) <strong>contract</strong> role based out of <strong>Santa Clara, CA</strong> with <strong>Hybrid</strong> work options. We offer competitive pay<strong> $40/hr - $60/hr</strong> based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Test UI-based map editing tools used by operators to create and label HD and SD maps for autonomous vehicle systems</li> <li>Validate workflows used to create, edit, and manage geospatial map data</li> <li>Develop and execute test plans and test cases for complex UI applications</li> <li>Perform functional, regression, and release testing in a fast-paced development environment</li> <li>Contribute automated UI test cases using Python to expand test coverage</li> <li>Identify, document, and triage defects in collaboration with engineering teams</li> <li>Partner with map operations teams to validate tool usability and workflow reliability</li> <li>Support frequent releases of internal mapping tools and features</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)</li> <li>5+ years of Software QA experience testing UI-based applications</li> <li>Experience testing map editing or map creation tools</li> <li>Experience working in mapping, geospatial, navigation, or autonomous vehicle environments</li> <li>Strong understanding of UI testing for complex internal platforms or tools</li> <li>Experience contributing to UI automation using Python</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile development and release cycles</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Strongly Preferred</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Experience with HD mapping or SD mapping systems</li> <li>Experience working with autonomous vehicle or navigation mapping teams</li> <li>Experience testing tools used by map operations teams or data annotation teams</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Sustainable Talent is a M/F+, disabled, and veteran equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
