<div><strong>About this role:</strong></div>
<div>The Community Manager has the responsibility, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, for all phases of the operations of an income-producing property. This includes personnel functions, leasing, community maintenance, monitoring market conditions, fiscal oversight, advertising, and resident relations.</div>

<div><strong>$25.00 - $28.00 DOE</strong></div>

<p><strong>Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Hire, train, and evaluate on-site staff while fostering a supportive work environment.</li>
<li>Provide clear guidance and tools for the team to excel in their roles.</li>
<li>Address and resolve employee and operational concerns promptly and professionally.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Administrative</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop a cohesive on-site team that reflects the organization's professionalism and quality.</li>
<li>Conduct regular inspections of common areas, units, and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards.</li>
<li>Enforce move-in/move-out protocols, including comprehensive inspections.</li>
<li>Ensure timely submission of payroll and maintain accurate records.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee rent collection and manage delinquent accounts, adhering to legal requirements under California landlord-tenant laws.</li>
<li>Complete daily bank deposits and maintain compliance with accounting procedures.</li>
<li>Monitor expenses, prepare budgets, and recommend cost-effective improvements to property operations.<strong> </strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Marketing and Leasing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Promote available units through approved advertising platforms and in-person showings.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate leasing records and ensure all agreements comply with Fair Housing regulations.</li>
<li>Analyze market trends to adjust pricing and marketing strategies as needed.</li>
<li>Support resident retention efforts through timely renewals and community engagement activities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Resident and Community Relations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Respond to resident concerns with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to Fair Housing laws.</li>
<li>Ensure all resident service requests are resolved within 24–48 hours, or as promptly as possible if delays occur.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, well-maintained community and uphold resident satisfaction.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure adherence to applicable California laws, including Fair Housing, ADA, and safety standards.</li>
<li>Regularly review and update policies and procedures to reflect legal and operational requirements.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A college degree or related coursework is preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of property management and lease-up experience required.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and neutrality in all interactions.</li>
<li>Knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing policies, and basic accounting/financial reporting principles.</li>
