Pipefitter Apprentice: Essential Hands-On Skills

In this position, you will work closely with experienced pipefitters to gain hands-on experience in maintaining piping systems. This includes reading isometric drawings, preparing pipes for installation, and executing hydrotests in a fabrication setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install piping systems and supports
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Prepare pipes and fittings for hoisting and rigging
• Conduct hydrotests and assemble pipe spools
• Measure and thread pipes to specifications

Requirements

• Must be a registered 2nd Year Apprentice
• Obtain H2S Alive and CSTS certifications
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
