Apprentice Pipefitter Skills Development

Launch your skills as an Apprentice Pipefitter, responsible for installing and maintaining various piping systems as part of a dedicated team. Safety and professionalism are key in this hands-on position.

This role allows you to gain practical knowledge in piping installation and maintenance while assisting skilled journeyperson pipefitters. Your daily tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints, engaging in assembly and installation activities, and performing hydrotests. You will be committed to supporting safety protocols while working outdoors in various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read isometric and P&ID blueprints effectively
• Support installation of pipes and valves on-site
• Prepare pipes for tacking and rigging
• Hydrotest and install pipe spools in fabrication
• Replace worn components and reactivate systems efficiently

Requirements

• Registration as an Apprentice with necessary authority
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors
• Strong focus on safety and ethical conduct
