Job description
TL;DR: We are scaling from $XM to $XXM ARR and looking for winners to work directly with our CEO and SVP of Sales. This is an entirely untapped $280B market where our first two sellers just closed $3.8M in three months. We are moving $500K ACV contracts with a sub-100-day sales cycle - unmatched velocity for anyone hungry, aggressive, and competitive. If you perform, you’ll be fast-tracked for promotion.
Background: Strala is rebuilding the foundation of the world’s largest industry - insurance.
In less than a year, we reached multi seven-figure ARR and are growing 50% MoM. We raised two rounds from Tier 1 funds including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, led by the partner who was early in OpenAI, Cognition and Scale AI. Our team comes from institutions like Harvard, Berkeley & Oxford and firms like Optiver, AMD & Palantir (+ICPC, NeurIPS backgrounds).
Role Description: As a sales leader at Strala, you will work alongside the CEO and the SVPs to run the full commercial motion - prospecting, discovery, RFP, negotiation, close, and long-term growth. The product already wins on speed, accuracy, and data availability, and market demand is strong; your focus is to turn that demand into accelerating revenue and set the cadence for the next phase of scale. Work with us as we scale this from $XM to $XXM ARR over the next year. Compensation is above market standard: a competitive base, a rich variable plan tied directly to bookings and retention, and an equity grant designed to become truly meaningful as the business grows. You will collaborate daily with the entire team and have the autonomy to pursue, close, and expand the relationships that will define Strala’s growth.
What You Will Do
Sell
- Own new-logo and retention targets for P&C TPA services
- Own sourcing and maintain a qualified pipeline with accurate, data-driven forecasts
- Codify a repeatable go-to-market playbook and recruit sales talent as volume grows
Access and Brand
- Leverage an established network of carrier, MGA, captive, and broker executives to open senior conversations
- Build channel alliances with brokers, captive managers, and insurtech platforms
- Represent Strala at conferences, webinars, and virtual forums to expand visibility and deal flow
Solution and Deal Execution
- Lead discovery sessions, ROI modelling, RFP responses, finalist presentations, and contract negotiations
- Translate indemnity, LAE, and cycle-time savings into compelling business cases
- Structure MSAs with performance-based fees, clear SLAs, and compliance safeguards
Upsell and Expand
- Act as executive sponsor through onboarding and ongoing business reviews
- Identify and close cross-sell opportunities across additional claim lines, analytics, and geographies
- Track account health metrics and mobilise resources proactively to protect renewals
Who You Are
- Eight or more years selling claims, TPA or similar insurance solutions solutions, regularly exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas
- Exceptionally driven to win and looking for the right firm to create outsized earnings
- Trusted relationships with Chief Claims Officers and risk executives, able to secure senior meetings quickly
- Skilled negotiator of seven-figure deals and complex MSAs
- Proven RFP strategist from sourcing to finalist pitch, comfortable defending pricing and SLAs
- Experience in P&C claims operations across auto, property, warranty and other lines
- Willing to travel (50%+)
- Player-coach mindset, eager to build and lead a high-performing team as revenue scales
