Part-Time Seasonal Farm Worker
New Generation Farmers Market – Cattaraugus, NY
New Generation Farmers Market is looking for a hardworking, positive part-time seasonal farm worker to join our growing team for the season! This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with plants, and contributing to a local regenerative farm.
Job Duties Include:
- Harvesting vegetables and flowers
- Washing, sorting, and packing produce
- Planting, cultivating, and weeding crops
- Preventative pest and bug management (organic-minded practices)
- General field upkeep and light preventative maintenance
- Assisting with day-to-day farm tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Enjoys physical outdoor work in varying weather
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Attention to detail and care when handling produce
- Prior farm or garden experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Details:
- Part-time, seasonal position
- Flexible hours
- Seasonal duration: spring through late summer/early fall
- Be part of a farm focused on sustainability and regenerative practices
