Automation Engineer (2-7 Years of experience in automotive domain with Python Automation & PyTest/Robot framework)

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Python Automation Engineer with expertise in the PyTest/Robot framework, test automation. The ideal candidate will work on building scalable automation by integrating multiple tools such as MQTT, Selenium, CANoe API, and CI/CD systems, and supporting end-to-end testing for connectivity, cloud apps and automotive domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, and maintain automation framework using Python and PyTest.
• Automate workflows using MQTT (Paho client libraries), Selenium WebDriver, REST APIs, CANoe APIs
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into automated test scenarios.
• Manage test execution pipelines and use Git for version control
• Prepare test reports, logs, and execution summaries for each test cycle

Qualifications

• 2-5 Years of experience in Python programming and PyTest automation.
• Experience with PyTest fixtures, decorators, hooks, markers, and parametrized tests.
• Hands-on experience with pytest-xdist and custom command-line test execution.
• Practical knowledge of MQTT and Paho client libraries.
• Experience in Selenium WebDriver for web automation (Chrome/Edge).
• Experience in CANoe API Automation (CAPL interaction or COM API).
• Understanding of Git workflows: branching, merging, conflict resolution.
• Strong debugging skills, log analysis, and automation troubleshooting abilities
