Software Engineer @ Stealth Startup

We are a consumer electronics stealth startup backed by tier 1 vc and led by proven unicorn founders, building the next generation of AI-powered consumer hardware. We're creating a premium home AI experience — ambient intelligence for busy households — and we're looking for a strong Software Engineer to help build the product from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Build and own frontend experiences in React and TypeScript — performant, polished, and designed for everyday consumer use
• Integrate AI and ML models into real product surfaces — this isn't a demo, it's shipping software
• Work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to move fast and maintain quality
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help establish engineering patterns as the team grows
• Own your work end-to-end — from scoping to shipping to monitoring in production

Who You Are

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with strong React and TypeScript fundamentals
• You've shipped AI-integrated products — you understand how to build reliably around models, latency, and streaming
• High craft bar: you care about the details, write clean code, and push back when something isn't right
• Comfortable in fast-moving, early-stage environments — you don't need a perfect spec to get started
• Rust experience is a strong plus — we have components where it matters
