What You’ll Do

As a Grinder Setup Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Lakewood, OH. You’ll get to:  

• Set up and operation of centerless grinder cells
• Make changes and adjustments to machines.
• Run production on grinders
• Dress wheels
• monitor robotic and track feed systems
• Monitor production, move material, make machine adjustments
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Record quality measurements of part produced for in process inspection
• Set-up operator will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

• High school diploma
• Minimum 3 years operating centerless grinders.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routings, use shop math, and use various hand held measuring tools.
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required.
• Continuously stands through 8 hour shift.
• Lift up to 100 lbs.
