StackAdapt is hiring a Motion Designer for an exciting opportunity to join our innovative design team and help the marketing team deliver fascinating content. If you are looking to grow your professional experience as a designer, this is for you!
In this role, you will explore brand application, video editing, animation, motion graphics within a fast-paced environment.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the GTA for this position.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with other designers to apply our company’s branding effectively.
- Support the motion team in creating marketing videos visually appealing as well as giving innovative art direction in video creation.
- Brainstorm ideas, understand the marketing strategies to produce excellent videos, and execute visual initiatives
- Create visual assets such as animated titles, transitions, graphic elements, gifs, video templates, motion graphics, and other special effects.
- Responsible for post-production tasks including reviewing footage, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing.
- Work on a variety of video projects such as: e-learning videos, promo videos, video ads, email gifs, social clips, and other kind of short-form/long-form video.
- Staying current with visual design technologies, applications, and industry trends.
What you'll bring to the table:
- A degree or diploma in Motion Graphics, Animation, or a related field.
- 1+ years experienced in working in animation and video editing.
- A strong portfolio of motion graphics and video design work, which reflects your problem-solving skills, versatile skill-set, compelling creative execution, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge about branding
- Ability to brainstorm various concepts, develop storyboards, and transfer those into moving type and graphic.
- Wide knowledge of the animation/video creation process, from storyboards to rendering.
- Strong understanding of layout composition, typography, images, colour, moving objects, etc.
- An openness to giving and receiving feedback to improve and grow with the team.
- Passion for learning and open opportunities to improve and innovate.
- Ability to work as a team, receive feedbacks, communicate and coordinate cross teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC: After Effect, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Additional consideration for having basic knowledge in Final Cut Pro, InDesign, and Figma.
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
