Role Description The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of general dental services, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative and preventive care. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, and basic endodontic treatment, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, discussing treatment options, and maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based at St. Paul Dental Care in St. Paul, AB.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dentist in Alberta; Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including diagnostics, restorative treatments, basic endodontics, and preventive care.
• Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and build trust with individuals and families.
• Commitment to clinical quality, infection control standards, and adherence to professional and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
