Full-Time Itinerant K to 12 Counselor

Join PRINCETON as a full-time Itinerant K to 12 Counselor starting September 1, 2026. This role requires expertise in student support, counselling, and knowledge of BC secondary curricula.

As part of School District 58, you will provide critical social-emotional support to students and work closely with school teams to implement effective programs. This position necessitates a Master's Degree in Counseling along with experience in inclusive education practices and conflict resolution skills to facilitate counselling for individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support social-emotional learning for grade-level students
• Collaborate with School-Based Teams to deliver integrated services
• Implement inclusive education programs effectively
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Counseling
• Knowledge of BC secondary curricula
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and Driver's License
• Experience in supporting diverse learning needs
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
