Compensation: $113,000 – $145,000 Base + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

Our client, a respected public accounting firm with a growing Technology practice, is seeking an Audit Manager to join its Tysons, Virginia office. What You'll Do

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion for technology, life sciences, and other commercial clients
• Manage engagement teams, budgets, timelines, and client communications
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related deliverables
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and build strong long-term relationships
• Identify accounting, audit, and business risks while providing practical recommendations
• Collaborate directly with Partners on client service delivery and business development initiatives
• Coach, mentor, and develop Seniors, Associates, and Interns
• Contribute to staff training, performance management, and team development efforts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the audit function

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing
• Public accounting audit experience required
• Prior experience serving Technology, Life Sciences, or similar commercial industry clients
• Preferred: 1–2 years of Audit Manager experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and staff development experience
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
