The Sportradar Communications team is based across the major regions of the US, EMEA and APAC. We build visibility for the company and its businesses across key geographies and customers. We are now looking for a critical position: Communications Manager based in New York, NY.
In this position, you will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders in North America managing media access and working closely with the global communications team to ensure consistency of messaging across interviews and presentations.
This is a demanding role, requiring a person who can be flexible, as well as both proactive and highly responsive. This is a multi-layered role requiring understanding of business at both a macro and micro level, as well as a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' approach to executional excellence.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Establish and execute against effective communications strategies for the North American market (US, Canada) that rolls up to global comms program
- Work with North American colleagues and stakeholders across business verticals (including betting, media and integrity) to unearth engaging and news friendly stories that highlight our key messages and corporate narrative and underscore the role Sportradar plays in the sports industry
- Strengthen existing and foster new media relationships in North America, including the US and Canada
- Quickly become ingrained in the sectors and products in which Sportradar specializes
- Ensure strong communications protocols are in place for media and executive speaking opportunities
- Prepare press releases, briefing documents, key messages and presentation slides
- Other duties as assigned
YOUR PROFILE:
- 7-10 years' relevant communications experience in technology, sports tech or sports business industry, with deep experience in B2B
- At least 5 years experience managing teams
- Fluent in English, other languages beneficial but not required
- Crisp writer and editor, grammar-obsessed with strong attention to detail
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills across business verticals, territories and time zones
- Strong appetite to learn and research new industries, innovations and developments
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment, as well as adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and able to work to tight deadlines, while keeping agencies driving toward long-term objectives
- Strong worth ethic – is accountable, works smart and pushes self and others for results
- Experience managing PR Agencies

Pay: $140,000
Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. Base pay is just one component of the Total Rewards that Sportradar provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
