  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Handle complex and sensitive personnel matters, including employee conflict resolution, investigations, and workplace issues.
  • Provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Design and manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and effective employee experience.
  • Track personnel clearances and partner with internal stakeholders to support compliance, workforce planning, and program staffing needs.

  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling HR processes, policies, and infrastructure for a growing organization, program, or business unit.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, investigations, and management of sensitive personnel matters.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, compliance, and HR operations in a hands-on capacity.
  • Experience tracking personnel clearances and supporting cleared staff populations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of federal contractor compliance requirements, including OFCCP, E-Verify, and related obligations.
  • Experience supporting a startup environment, new business line, or organizational build-out.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI to transform HR from a process-heavy support function into a data-driven, strategic decision engine.
