About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI Platform team, you'll design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that empowers customers using the platform every day in high-stakes, real-time settings. You'll work across the AI stack, drive key architectural decisions, lead high-impact product initiatives, and set the technical direction for long-term platform reliability and performance.

In your first 6 months, you'll focus on setting the foundations for long-term success - investing in observability, reliability, and scalability across a high-stakes, real-time environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect major product features leveraging the latest advancements in AI to deliver a magical user experience
• Anticipate system bottlenecks and proactively re-architect key components before they become customer-facing issues
• Lead high-strategic-value product initiatives, accelerating iteration speed while preventing technical debt
• Hold the codebase to a high standard and help shape engineering processes that support high-quality shipping

Who You Are

• Experience working on challenging zero-to-one software engineering problems spanning multiple teams
• Comfortable with a modern infrastructure stack: cloud providers (AWS, GCP), containers (Docker), queuing systems (SQS, Kafka), and standard databases (Postgres)
• A demonstrated ability to own execution from inception to successful outcome
• Willing to flex up and down the stack to get projects across the finish line
• A low-ego team player who prioritizes finding the best ideas, regardless of source
• Someone who thrives in complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $200,000 – $250,000 (exclusive of equity), plus meaningful equity
