The Impact You’ll Makeinthis Role

As aPMO Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the offshore PMO capabilityfor strategic IT programs by setting short-term operating plans, governance methods, priorities, execution standards, and continuous improvement practices that improve delivery discipline, transparency, and business outcomes across the IT portfolio.
• Providingleadership-level advice and decision support to IT and PMO leadersby synthesizing portfolio health, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, financial considerations, and trade-offs into clear recommendations that enable timely action.
• Independently managing conversations with senior stakeholders across IT and business(Director and above levels) to drive alignment, decision making and progress against plan
• Determiningpriorities, assigning work, managing capacity, coaching team members, and driving accountabilityfor PMO deliverables across program management, reporting, automation, stakeholder communications, and executive governance routines.
• Implementingscalable PMO processes, portfolio controls, reporting standards, tool-enabled workflows, and performance measuresthat strengthen consistency, predictability, and cross-functional alignment across strategic IT initiatives
• Ability to manage programswithinprescribed capital allocation or operating budget. Proactively identify any variations, identify improvement measures
• Collaboratingwith variousITtransformation office capabilities– portfolio and program management, demand intake, organization change management and comms, special projects/M&A
• Understandingcorporate/regional technologystandards and principlesandincorporating them as part of program management officeprinciples as it pertains to working with IT functional or business groups
• Influencing global stakeholders across India, US, and EUteams by communicating with clarity, resolving conflicts, navigating ambiguity, and driving cooperation across multiple IT functions, vendors, business partners, and leadership groups
• Supportingleaders withresource and capacity management planningfor program management office team across different geographies
• Understanding nuances ofcomplex, cross functional andlarge-scalestrategicprogramsobjectives, technical scope, business dependencies to be able toeffectively apply program management fundamentals

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires at a minimum the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and10-15years of experienceinIT Consulting orIT program management, portfolio management, PMO leadership, technology governance, or IT transformation roles.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experienceleading PMO governance, operating rhythms, portfolio reporting, delivery controls, and continuous improvementpractices for complex IT strategic programs across multiple functions, geographies, stakeholders, or delivery teams.
• Experiencemanaging and developing direct reports, including objective setting, work assignment, coaching, performance feedback, prioritization, conflict resolution, capability building, and team operating model improvement.
• Demonstrated ability todefine priorities, manage capacity, assess resource needs, support budget or financial visibility, and provide leadership recommendations that improve delivery effectiveness across a functional area.
• Strongexecutive communication, stakeholder influence, negotiation, and decision-support skills,including the ability to simplify complex information and drive action across managers, functional leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with PMO, reporting, and collaboration tools such asSmartsheet, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and Jira
• Flexibility to manage stakeholders acrossUS and EU for collaboration

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in working withor providing consulting services toMedical Devices or MedTech companies, particularly in IT organizations
• PMP,PgMP, PMI-ACP,SAFe, Scrum, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or Smartsheet certification.
• Experience establishing or maturing an offshore PMO, global capabilitycenter, shared services team, or distributed delivery model.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT transformation, digital, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, ERP, application,M&A, divestituresor business technology programs.
• Skills include strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, structured problem-solving, executive presence, talent development, resilience, and a bias for action.

Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties require travel to Bangalore office at least 2 days per week)

Domestic Travel: May include up to 20%
