2) Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Engineer – IT Room Equipment & Infrastructure Support for the India market.

This is a part-time role and may also develop as a flexible long-term cooperation position. The main focus of this role is technical capability . We are looking for someone who can support actual projects and technical communication related to IT room equipment, server room infrastructure, and supporting hardware systems .

This is not a pure sales role, and it is also not intended to be a general project manager position. The ideal candidate should be able to support:

• technical understanding of IT room and IDC equipment
• equipment selection and configuration support
• requirement clarification
• quotation-related technical assistance
• customer-facing technical communication
• project-side technical follow-up

Business development support may be involved when needed, but it is secondary to the technical responsibilities.

3) Key Responsibilities

Technical Support for IT Room Equipment

• Support technical work related to IT room and server room equipment
• Help review customer requirements and identify suitable equipment categories
• Provide technical support for products such as:
• modular data center systems
• UPS
• PDU
• indoor racks
• outdoor cabinets
• air conditioning systems
• power & environmental monitoring devices
• Assist in checking product suitability, application fit, and basic equipment configuration direction

These categories are already part of SolutionMall’s centralized IDC equipment suite and are supported by product catalog resources, technical references, and supporting sales materials.

Requirement Clarification & Equipment Matching

• Understand project requirements related to IT room infrastructure and supporting hardware
• Help convert customer needs into structured equipment direction or preliminary equipment lists
• Support internal communication on product matching, basic specifications, and application scenarios
• Assist in technical comparison of equipment options when required

Quotation & Technical Communication Support

• Support quotation preparation from the technical side
• Assist in clarifying technical questions during customer discussions
• Help explain the basic use cases, equipment logic, and supporting infrastructure relationships
• Work with SolutionMall teams to keep technical communication clear during RFQ, quotation, and order follow-up stages

Project Technical Follow-Up

• Support technical follow-up for active projects involving server room and IT infrastructure equipment
• Help coordinate technical clarification between customer requirements and product direction
• Assist with practical follow-up during project preparation, supply matching, and delivery-related stages
• Share technical feedback from customer discussions or project progress

Basic Market & Opportunity Support

• Provide support during customer follow-up when technical explanation is needed
• Assist in project opportunity follow-up related to IT room equipment and supporting infrastructure
• Support SolutionMall teams in keeping technically relevant opportunities active

This type of follow-up is consistent with SolutionMall’s broader cooperation framework, which allows support in customer development, RFQ opportunity tracking, project verification, and order docking, although in this role these items remain secondary to technical contribution.

4) Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• IT room equipment
• server room infrastructure
• data center supporting hardware
• UPS / PDU
