Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty pharmacy focused on behavioral medications is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide full-time coverage during daytime hours in Baltimore, MD. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment serving approximately 100-200 prescriptions daily, utilizing the PioneerRX system, and managing a support team of five pharmacy technicians and one specialty pharmacist.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Accurately verify prescriptions ensuring compliance with regulations and patient safety
Provide patient counseling to enhance medication adherence and understanding
Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and quality service
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support specialty pharmacy operations

Qualifications

Active, clear Maryland State Pharmacist license with no negative history required
Previous experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to lead and support a team in a busy pharmacy environment
