Job Summary

Softech-Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives and provide actionable insights that drive business strategy. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, managing large-scale data projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and deliver interactive dashboards and detailed reports for stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations that align with business goals.

2. Strategic Decision Support

  • Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to forecast outcomes and optimize decision-making processes.

3. Data Management & Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in data governance and security.

4. Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
  • Lead data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging analytics tools and techniques.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and working with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a specific domain such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
  • Certifications in data analytics, such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or AWS Data Analytics.
