About the Role
The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and governance of total rewards programs across PAN India. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to drive competitive, data-driven compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate talent. It oversees job evaluation, salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and key rewards projects (including restructuring, audits, and policy changes), while ensuring alignment with business goals, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder influence, and the ability to manage complex, high-volume rewards programs effectively. To drive the Total Rewards activities for PAN India.
Key Responsibilities:
-Partner with internal clients (HR and business leaders) to design and implement compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that drive the achievement of business objectives
-Lead the administration and delivery of compensation and benefits programs aimed at attracting and retaining talent
-Perform job evaluations and job levelling, and recommend salary grades for new or revised roles with impact across entities in India
-Provide recommendations on various pay actions (job offers, promotions, equity increases, bonus buyouts, etc.) using survey data, market benchmarks, internal equity, and other relevant inputs
- Manage special compensation and benefits projects (M&A, reorganizations, job levelling, job hierarchies, common merit cycles, government audits, internal audits, and regulatory changes)
-Manage the Management Incentive Plan for the assigned country/region
-Lead the implementation and administration of market data analysis, merit planning, annual incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate / MBA in HR
-Ability to drive for results and achieve goals through direct/indirect influence
- Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously
- Ability to handle volume of data regarding salary and increments
- Exceptional quantitative and diagnostic problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to influence business and HR management
- Thorough understanding of compensation & benefit budgets and funding requirements
- Exposure to one or more other areas of HR (benefits, talent acquisition, learning & development)
- Possesses solid knowledge in multiple aspects of compensation (base pay, long-term incentive programs, annual incentive programs, sales compensation programs and reward and recognition programs, payroll and job evaluation)
