About SRPDR:
Society for Resource Planning, Development & Research (SRPDR) is a non-profit organization working in the areas of Natural Resource Management, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, sustainable livelihoods, NTFP/medicinal plant management, tribal development, capacity building, research, monitoring & evaluation. The organization has implemented several projects supported by NABARD, UNDP-GEF, DST, NMPB, MoEF&CC, State Forest Department, IUCN and other development partners.
SRPDR invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions:
1. Project Manager – 01 Position
Location: Bhopal (with frequent field visits in Madhya Pradesh)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management/ implementation in development sector.
Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in Forestry / Natural Resource Management / Agriculture/ Environmental Science / Development Studies / Rural Development / Social Science/ or related field. (Mandatory)
- Candidates with experience in PFMS Portal, NGO/development projects will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall planning, implementation and monitoring of projects.
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, budgets and reporting.
- Coordination with funding agencies, government departments, technical partners and community institutions.
- Supervision and guidance of project team members.
- Development of project reports, updates, case studies and documentation.
- Monitoring field activities related to tribal livelihood promotion, NTFP value chain development, biodiversity conservation and climate-resilient practices.
- Conducting field visits, stakeholder meetings and review meetings.
- Support proposal development, project planning and knowledge management activities.
Required Skills
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of rural development and community-based interventions.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, data analysis and presentation tools.
- Ability to work with tribal and rural communities.
2. Project Coordinator – 01 Position
Location:Bhopal (with frequent field visits in Madhya Pradesh)
Experience Required: Min. 2+ years of relevant experience in NGO projects.
Qualification:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Social Science, Rural Development, Social Work, or related discipline. (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project implementation at field level.
- Coordinate with communities, SHGs, farmer groups, tribal beneficiaries and local stakeholders.
- Conduct field visits, community meetings and training programs.
- Support data collection, surveys, monitoring and documentation.
- Maintain project records, activity reports and beneficiary databases.
- Assist Project Manager in implementation and reporting.
- Support organizing workshops, trainings and capacity building programs.
Required Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working with rural/tribal communities preferred.
- Field-level implementation experience.
- Advanced computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Experience Areas
