Founded in 2018, SmartD is seeking to disrupt the established century-old industry of electrical motor control. We are a Series A-funded team of innovators based in downtown Montreal, scaling a product that will save energy and be used by millions.

The Impact of This Role
At SmartD, we value individual initiative and creative execution. Reporting to the Marketing & BD Lead, you will be a central contributor to our ongoing rebranding initiative. You will:
- Own and maintain the SmartD website (WordPress), leading the charge on page creation, content updates, and the visual rollout of our new brand identity.
- Manage our brand image across all touchpoints—digital, print, social, and trade—ensuring we stand out in a traditional industry.
- Plan and coordinate multi-channel content (blogs, press, newsletters) while leveraging AI tools to enhance production speed and quality.
- Support the rebranding rollout by creating assets, templates, and guidelines that ensure global consistency.
What You Bring
- WordPress Mastery: You are comfortable owning, updating, and independently managing a corporate site.
- Multi-Channel Content: Proven ability to plan and execute social media, editorial calendars, and product collateral.
- Visual Eye: A strong grasp of brand standards and visual consistency.
- AI-Forward: Experience using AI tools to optimize content workflows.
- Bonus: Experience with HubSpot (CRM) and design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
Experience
- 5+ Years in a Marketing Communications or Content role, ideally within B2B or the tech sector.
- Highly organized with a track record of managing several complex workstreams at once.
- Language: Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and French are required for this bilingual role.
- Mindset: You are energized by variety and pace—you thrive in an environment where no two weeks look the same.

Our Hiring Process

- Introductory Call (20 min): A general discussion via Google Meet to align on interest and fit.
- Marketing & Strategy Discussion (30 min): A deep-dive into your portfolio and experience with our Marketing & BD Lead.
- On-Site Interview (1 hour): An in-depth meeting with your future colleagues and a tour of our office
