Roles Mandate Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Lead Affiliated Independents, you will provide operational support to our retailer/customers, and drive growth of our business through new customer opportunities. The Affiliated Independent Team helps food businesses succeed in communities and neighbourhoods across Canada. We do this by striving to be Easy Business Partners as we grow and strengthen our brand, evolve processes, provide insights, and launch new merchandising and marketing initiatives, while leveraging the strength of Loblaw to be Canada's wholesaler to independent retailers. Key Responsibilities Be accountable for achieving sales and P&L targets. Monitor the competitive environment in your market and propose unique responses. Be constantly on the lookout for great stores to join our portfolio. Influence, coach and motivate retailers to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Maintain merchandising and operational guidelines. Provide input to the Senior Director and other business partners to help shape business unit strategy. Build sustainable, long term relationships with the independent retailers in your territory. Promote our Brand and Banner to grow our business. Perform regular customer visits. Analyze sales and financial data, including P&L statements, to monitor financial success and highlight growth opportunities. Communicate operational ideas, best working practices, visual merchandising and process improvement suggestions. Communicate regularly with store owners and their teams to resolve issues promptly, coordinating between customers and Store Support and providing recommendations. Requirements We're looking for talented, passionate leaders with: Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty. Strong financial acumen to deliver outstanding business results. A commitment to delivering consistent results every day. An ability to apply concepts and theories to improve results. Interpersonal skills to resolve situations with conflict, stress or uncertainty. Adaptability to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions; able to work with diverse personalities and styles. Clear communication, both written and verbal, in one to one or group situations. Computer skills to produce and interpret reports, documents and presentations. Professional manner, tact, and diplomacy. Greater than five years in grocery retail or equivalent; wholesale experience an asset. This role requires frequent and effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders across Quebec and the Atlantic region, including customers, store staff, and regional teams, in English and French. Proficiency in both English and French is essential to ensure seamless operations and superior customer service. Salary Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l'embauche: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year (per annum).
