About the Opportunity

Skyline Recruitment is currently partnering with a long-standing environmental consulting firm in Barrie that is expanding its contaminant and environmental site assessment team.

Our client is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Hydrogeologist with strong experience in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA).

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of Phase I and Phase II ESA proposals and reports
• Conducting work in accordance with CSA standards and O.Reg. 153/04
• Coordination of Phase II field programs
• Locate requests
• Field scheduling
• Contractor coordination
• Field note review and documentation
• Technical report writing and regulatory documentation
• Liaising with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
• Supporting contaminant hydrogeology investigations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant consulting experience (intermediate to senior considered)
• Experience preparing and coordinating Phase I/II ESAs
• Working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04
• Strong technical writing and organizational skills
• Hydrogeological experience considered an asset
• QPESA or QPRA designation not required but considered beneficial

Additional Information

• Salary range: $70K–$120K depending on experience
• Barrie office-based role (flexibility may be considered for experienced professionals)
