A Snapshot of Your Day We are looking for an Electrical Mechanical Engineer with robust background in Oil Gas Fabrication related projects in the Oil Gas Petrochemical and or Energy Sector Effective communication with the international team is a crucial aspect of your role and your goal is to contribute to the execution of the projects that meets the needs of the SE industry How You ll Make an ImpactCoordinate all QA QC activities with the Project Manager Implement the QA QC management system and monitor on approved site QC Plan at the site Reviewing of the site purchase orders to ensure that the applicable are meeting as per desire criteria The control and completion of vendor inspection assignment packages onsite and offsite as well The coordination and resolution of any nonconforming products reviewing vendors QA QC System in accordance with contractual requirement Attendance at the site and inspection procurements meetings Coordinate with Quality Inspectors with all the site sub-contractors and vendor destructive testing on the site Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as built and hand over to The QC turns over Engineer Attending weekly Meetings with projects and coordinate with management and site construction manager to discuss for quality issues and measures for improvements Elaborate and ensure inspection test programs and safety are adhered to at the site Assure all technical documents related to the site quality control are current and approved status Coordinate with commissioning department customer s representative to define the scope of work and other quality matters Complete and coordinate the approval of the site s QC technical submittal to sub-contractors Review of supplier and contractor s inspection test plan against the milestone scope of the work Coordinate all receipt inspection and distribute relevant QA QC documentation to the site sub-contractors Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable standards Participate in the site internal and external Audits as per ISO 9001 2015 Familiar with Quality Assurance Principles and practice as per ISO 9001 2015 control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as built hand over to the QC turn over engineer Conduct Internal External Audit within the own Quality management system and EPC and Subcontractors as well as per ISO and prepare Audit assessment reports Involve in Pre commissioning Commissioning activities of 11 36 66 132 KV Switchgears and Transformers as specification and vendor recommendations Review and maintained all EPCC and Subcontractors CONTRACTOR approvals and certification items as below Mill certificates welding test certificates welding materials approval reports and certificates of the conformity CIVIL Engineering and execution Electrical Equipment s Instrumentation Parameters and Equipment s Installation and Commissioning Piping pressure equipment s and fire resistance Etc We don t need superheroes just super minds Bachelor s degree in electrical mechanical engineering as a minimum Proven experience of at least 8-10 years within Oil Gas industry with international companies Knowledge in Materials Selection and Specification Degradation and Corrosion Control System Design and Management Investigation of Equipment Failure Skilled in Asset Integrity and Repair Assessments Non-Destructive Testing NDT Field Inspection Facilities Equipment Materials and Corrosion Knowledge of Mechanical E House structure and fabricators globally We ve got quite a lot to offer How about you This role is based in Bengaluru You ll also get to visit other locations in India and beyond so you ll need to go where this journey takes you In return you ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities countries - and the shape of things to come We re Siemens A collection of over 379 000 minds building the future one day at a time in over 200 countries We re dedicated to equality and we welcome applications that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in All employment decisions at Siemens are based on qualifications merit and business need Bring your curiosity and imagination and help us shape tomorrow
