Job Summary

Join our team for a 2-3 month onsite contract to improve and optimize our current web product. You'll work closely with our development and product teams to enhance performance, fix issues, and implement key upgrades using Node.js. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer looking for a focused, high-impact project in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve the existing Node.js-based web product, focusing on performance optimization, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate improvements seamlessly.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Node.js code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Deploy updates and monitor application performance during the contract period.
• Document changes and provide knowledge transfer to the core team at project end.

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL), and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), cloud services (AWS/GCP), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven track record in improving and refactoring existing applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React/Vue) for full-stack collaboration.
• Prior work on web products in agile teams.
