Job Summary
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for negotiating and administering contracts related to the resale of software, hardware, cloud solutions, and IT services while ensuring adherence to SHI standards. This role involves maintaining documentation, preparing contractual provisions, reviewing agreements for risk, and interfacing with internal departments to negotiate terms. The Contract Specialist will manage high-volume activity, create executive summaries, and analyze contract-related information to support customer-facing teams.This role is required to report to our SHI Somerset, NJ office on a hybrid structure.
Role Description
Negotiate and administer contracts for the resale of software, hardware, cloud solutions, and IT services.
Administer requests for contractual forms, documents, and customer contracts as per agreed terms.
Maintain documentation to support contract administration and execution.
Participate in the preparation and development of contractual provisions and contract proposals.
Review Customer and Partner/Vendor agreement terms to ensure consistency with SHI standards.
Interface with SHI Salesforce and internal departments to develop contractual documents and negotiate terms.
Review contracts with Customers and Vendors for risk and address redlines.
Manage high volume activity while ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) responses are met and escalated as required.
Create executive summaries of contract proposals and review for contractual issues to report to management for resolution.
Prepare and distribute final contract documents to all listed contacts.
Analyze contract-related information and capture relevant data in appropriate systems for customer-facing teams.

Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor's degree (English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing preferred)
1-3 years experience with contracts
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Track Changes, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $54,000 - $65,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
