We need a Lead Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the Intersection: Drive the integration of hardware and software across our current and in-development suite of weapon systems (Skunkwave, Driftwood).
• Weaponize Simplicity: Create engineering solutions that prioritize cost, speed, and simplicity of manufacturing.
• Technical Ownership: Initially oversee all engineering disciplines (Hardware/Software) and manage system design, integration, verification, and validation.
• Team Development: Train, develop, and oversee junior engineering staff as the company scales.

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience within the defense, aerospace, or marine sectors.
• Full Lifecycle Experience: Proven ability to lead a project from ideation through to deployed support.
• Maker Mindset: Intricate knowledge of hardware/software integration and a willingness to be hands-on with physical prototypes.
• Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian Secret Security Clearance.
