Electronic Data Delivery Analyst

The Electronic Data Delivery Analyst is responsible for managing, validating, and optimizing the electronic exchange of data between internal systems, clients, and third-party partners. This role ensures data accuracy, timely delivery, proper formatting, and adherence to quality standards while troubleshooting delivery issues and supporting ongoing improvements to data feed processes. The position will liaise closely with IT, laboratory operations, and client facing teams to support stable and efficient data delivery pipelines.
- Own the strategy and continuous improvement of the company’s Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) solutions for environmental testing clients
- Manage the preparation, validation, and delivery of Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) in client-required and regulatory-compliant formats.
- Oversee daily electronic data exchange processes, including automated feeds, APIs, secure file transfers, and batch jobs.
- Ensure data quality and compliance through validation, quality control, and review of project-specific and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot delivery failures and data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex EDD issues.
- Improve EDD workflows through automation, process optimization, and system enhancements that reduce turnaround time and manual effort.
- Support LIMS configuration, system integrations, and data mapping between laboratory systems and client reporting formats.
- Collaborate with laboratory, project management, business, IT, and client stakeholders to support data delivery and onboarding activities.
- Document workflows, standards, and technical procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge continuity.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in data delivery, data operations, systems support, or similar technical/data-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience with electronic file formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, TXT, or Excel.
- Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS)
- Experience with APIs, EDI, or automated data exchange systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Background supporting external customers or partners with technical data questions.
- Understanding of data governance, audit controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards (e.g., EPA guidelines).
- Experience with workflow automation tools, ETL/ELT pipelines, or data integration platforms.
- Experience with Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) formats (e.g., EQuIS, EarthSoft, ERPIMS, FUDSCHEM, custom client templates).
- Experience with Production Laboratory Operations or Support
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- General knowledge of Chemistry

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $47,000 – $62,500 annually. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
