UX Product Designer P&C Insurance

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a remote UX Product Designer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance clients. 100% REMOTE working EST hours.

Contract will go thru EOY, possibly into 2027.

We are looking for Insurance experience or time spent in a Regulated environment. Responsibilities :

• Insurance Professional Servicing portfolio, designing servicing tools for Customer Service Representatives and Independent Agents.
• Embedded on one or more cross-functional, agile product squads working to transform complex, legacy ecosystems through reimagination and re-platforming
• Responsible for designing robust, power-user tools that support critical agent workflows, with an emphasis on usability, efficiency, and scalability in a regulated environment.
• Support the modernization of Agent and Customer Service Representative tools across Personal Lines and Small Commercials Lines.
• Transform complex, legacy ecosystems through reimagination and re-platforming.
• Design robust, power-user tools that support critical agent workflows, with an emphasis on usability, efficiency, and scalability in a regulated environment.
• Attend daily agile ceremonies with your aligned teams, partnering closely with content designers, product owners, and engineers, as well as business stakeholders, marketers, analysts, and researchers.
• Understand complex product requirements and interaction design problems to create experiences that innovate, solve user and business problems, and exceed user expectations.
• Help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing to evaluate UX effectiveness and determine where and how to optimize the experience
• Coordinate across multiple facets of the customer experience.
• Learn a complex product ecosystem and collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless experience for the user. Enterprise or experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
• Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, from technical to business SMEs and process owners, etc.

Required Skills

• Strong design thinking and fundamental design process, ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with peers and partners alike, ability to think systemically and solve for isolated challenges, and ability to navigate complex, sometimes ambiguous spaces.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry (fintech, health care, government, etc.).
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions .
