Delivery Driver & Rental Prep Staff

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented Delivery Driver & Rental Prep Staff member to join our team at Seven Events! This dynamic role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and being on the move. You will play a crucial part in our operations by prepping event inventory, processing linens, and ensuring our rentals, from delicate dishes to heavy harvest tables, make it safely to and from event venues.

Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Daytime, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), plus some required weekends.

Most prep work is performed at our home-based facility in Kawartha Lakes, combined with driving routes to local event venues for deliveries and pickups. Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and ready to hustle behind the scenes to help bring beautiful events to life!

Responsibilities

• Pull and accurately pack rental orders for upcoming events
• Execute safe and timely deliveries and pickups of event rentals to various venues
• Load and unload event furniture, including heavy harvest tables
• Clean and organize event inventory, including dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Process laundry and linens (washing, pressing, and folding to meet quality standards)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelving, storage, and work areas
• Perform basic quality checks on all items before packing and after pickups

Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age or older (required for commercial auto insurance purposes)
• Heavy Lifting: Must be physically capable of safely lifting and moving items up to 65 lbs (this is essential for handling harvest tables)
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for delivery duties
• Must have reliable personal transportation to our facility in Kawartha Lakes (no public transit available)
• Comfortable in a hands-on, physical, and fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure delivery schedules are met
• Positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Experience

• Previous experience in delivery driving, moving, warehouse prep, or hospitality is a strong asset
• Experience safely handling and transporting heavy furniture as well as delicate decor/tableware is a huge plus
• On-the-job training will be provided for all cleaning and order-pulling procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.20 per hour
