Are you a seasoned Node.js expert with a passion for building high-scale APIs and optimizing complex cloud ecosystems? Sesheng LLC is looking for a Lead Node.js Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our solution delivery, transforming complex business requirements into hardened, high-performance application logic within the Azure environment.

The Role

As a Lead Developer, you won’t just write code; you’ll shape the architecture of our business logic. You will work closely with our solution team to lead the development of APIs, manage document databases, and mentor the team on coding standards and security hardening.

Key Responsibilities

• API Leadership: Build and manage business logic APIs and CRUD operations using Node.js and Azure Functions.
• Database Mastery: Manage Cosmos DB/Document DB and write complex MongoDB aggregate queries.
• Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing Node.js code.
• Security First: Ensure all APIs are hardened and compliant with modern security standards.
• Data Integration: Build robust ingestion pipelines using Axios and XLSXJS to handle JSON and Excel data.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10 years of dedicated Node.js development experience.
• Advanced JavaScript: Expert in ES6 standards and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
• Cloud Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of Azure, specifically Azure Functions for server-side JS.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency with ExpressJS, WebPack, WebSockets, UnderscoreJS, and Axios.
• Database: High proficiency in Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
