DBA Admin (SQL Server & Oracle)-Hyderabad

We are seeking a seasoned DBA Admin with deep expertise in SQL Server and Oracle databases to manage and optimize mission-critical data systems. This role involves working on cloud-based platforms, ensuring high availability, and maintaining performance across large-scale database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and maintenance of SQL Server and Oracle databases in live environments
• Analyze and enhance database performance through query tuning and optimization
• Design and deploy highly available and scalable database architectures
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Continuously monitor system performance and resource usage
• Develop and support ETL workflows and data integration pipelines
• Enforce data security, governance, and compliance standards
• Assist in data migration, modernization, and cloud transition projects
• Automate routine database tasks using scripting tools like PowerShell
• Work closely with teams to resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server (primary) and Oracle (secondary)
• Practical experience with Azure SQL (PaaS environment)
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
• Hands-on exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Knowledge of data security frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or equivalent tools)
• Expertise in database performance monitoring and tuning
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Education

• Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline
