Product Technical Support Engineer
The Servitek FOUSSIER team is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate will play a key role in the development, integration, and technical support of our product lines — both with our customers and our internal teams.
The Product Technical Support Engineer will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, from design to integration, acting as a bridge between customer technical requirements and the company’s internal capabilities.
Location: 181 Bishop St. N, Alexandria
Main Responsibilities
· Customer Technical Support
Respond to technical inquiries related to our products and their integration into customer systems.
Collaborate with customers to develop solutions tailored to their specific needs.
· Product Development and Integration
Participate in the development and integration of new products within our portfolio.
Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications as required.
Ensure technical compatibility between our products and customer systems.
· Internal Support
Provide technical support to the sales, purchasing, and marketing teams.
Contribute to the technical training of internal staff to enhance product understanding and presentation.
Participate in the creation of technical documentation (data sheets, installation guides, etc.).
· Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for improvement in existing products.
Collaborate with suppliers and technical partners to optimize the solutions offered.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
Junior engineers are welcome.
Relevant experience in technical support, product design, or product integration (an asset).
Excellent command of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills across departments.
Bilingual (French / English), spoken and written.
