Job Description
You are a hands-on Android APK Developer with strong NFC technology experience. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Strong experience in Android Package Kit (APK) development using Java
- Hands-on experience with NFC (Near Field Communication) technologies
- Experience in Android build environment
- Debugging expertise using Android Studio
- Experience working on Android host platforms
- Embedded systems knowledge (preferably connectivity domain)
As an Android APK Developer, you will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain Java-based Android APKs
- Implement and validate NFC features (read/write, tag communication, host card emulation, etc.)
- Perform validation activities before release
- Debug APK and NFC-related issues at application and system level
- Work on Jenkins/CI build issues
- Create scripts for feature enhancements
It would be good to have:
- Embedded testing experience
- NFC testing and protocol understanding
- Python scripting
- SCM tools (Git or equivalent)
- CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Experience with Android embedded boards (RB3 DragonBoard preferred)
- Hands-on usage of lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.)
You must hold a Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics or Computer Science. Please do not apply if:
- You have only Android UI development experience without APK build exposure
- You do not have hands-on NFC technology experience
- Your notice period is more than 20 days
- You are looking for remote/hybrid roles
