Location: Washington, DC 20535 (100% Onsite)
Clearance Requirements: Active Top-Secret Clearance required
Position Status: Long-term contract, multi-year
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on qualifications
Position Description
We are seeking a Top Secret Cleared Junior Pega Developer to support a high-visibility federal program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for an early-career developer with strong Pega fundamentals who wants hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade workflow and case management solutions using the Pega Infinity platform.
You will collaborate closely with senior developers, architects, and business stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy scalable Pega applications aligned with federal best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Pega-based technical solutions
- Design and configure case types, workflows, UI components, and integrations using Pega Infinity
- Develop and unit test applications using Pega Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities
- Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Partner with senior developers and architects on development workstreams
- Assist with production support, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment sustainment
- Identify risks and communicate status updates in a timely, professional manner
Required Skills/Education
- Active Top Secret Clearance (required to start)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of professional experience (internships and academic programs accepted)
- MUST possess one of the following certifications:
- CSA (Certified System Architect)
- CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)
- Experience working with Pega Infinity Platform
- Experience in Pega application development and configuration
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC five days per week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CRM, case management, or workflow automation solutions
- Prior consulting or federal client delivery experience
- Exposure to Pega architecture concepts
- Familiarity with enterprise system integrations
